We have accumulated a wealth of experience over many years regarding box sash windows using modern glass and draught proof systems, while retaining the traditional looks and workings.
All our windows are made from quality timbers. After replacing original windows we have realised that the timber isn’t rotten just worn out and beyond repair. The original timber used was Douglas Fir from Canada with its own natural preservative to weather. So with this realisation in mind we have sourced a supplier as we prefer to use the same.
We also provide a hard wood alternative which is hard wearing and durable. With both timbers we don’t need to use wood preservatives which is harmful to the environment and affects the effectiveness of the paint.
